“Oh my god” and “Ahhh love it” were the squeals of excitement when we received the delivery of our new brand we are now stocking.

‘Oh My Love’ is a homegrown London label, that represents the Capital and your typical London gal. Fresh, Vibrant and with a passion for fashion.

The label was created by Anne Lombard in 2009, Oh My Love prides itself on creating easy to wear, versatile clothing, that is bang on trend and affordable.

And we are very proud to be stocking it ♥

You may have noticed, but we are in a almost having a fashion frenzy at Ella Tino at the moment, as we can not get enough of the Baroque trend.

Think decadent, rich colours, in your face print. Originally a term used for Art, it has now moved in to fashion, with designers like McQueen, Dolce and Gabbana and Balmain using it on the runway with opulent brocade jackets, in material such as velvets and satins.

However fear not, you don’t need to be a Lord or Lady to wear or afford this trend.

This week at Ella Tino we have gone animal print crazy. Inspired by 1980′s Versace, we wanted to go big, bold and over the top. (Think Bet Lynch ladies). Leopard Print has been creeping in the past few seasons but this Winter there is a flood of it. And we can’t seem to get enough.

Don’t be afraid to mix your prints as we have done to give the look that daring bit of edge, which is perfected with the Faux Leather and Leopard Print jacket with gold studs.

Champagne, Cupcakes, Dogs in tutu’s and fairy wings and a chorus of ‘Shutuuupp’…. It can only mean one thing. Essex Fashion Week!

As proud sponsors of the event, this is a date we had been looking forward to for a long time and it didn’t disappoint. As well as ourselves there were many other boutiques and designers showcasing, all looking great (especially the menswear ranges modelled by the gorgeous male models we had the pleasure of seeing strip off backstage).

The models strutted their stuff in Ella Tinos finest down the catwalk to a track by Flight Facilities ‘Crave You’ in front of TOWIE’s Chloe Sims and Frankie Essex, XFactor duo 2Shoes, and our favourite Loose Lady Carol McGiffin who were all sitting FROW (that’s front row for those not in the know).

We caught up with them at the after party, and they all said they loved the show.

A special Thank You to Adam and Simon Ryan for putting on a great show and our fabulous Shoot DHS models. We can’t wait for next years already!

Friday night saw Essex’s finest cram in to Faces Night Club to see a catwalk preview of what’s in store for Essex Fashion Week.

Showing along side us, were Masato, who as well as designing his own collection is part of the Design team at Ghost and Giles Deacon. Adam Ryan also sent a bunch of lovely male models down the catwalk in his One Off One You (OOOY) collection of customised blazers.

As the crowds took to their seats, and the cameras were set up (The catwalk was filmed as part of a brand new Sky 1 documentary) tensions were running high backstage,  final touches of make-up were being applied, hemlines pulled down,  shoes slipped on and jewellery added, but as the music started up (One by Sweedish House Mafia) the models were ready to strut their stuff…

It was a successful and fun night for all involved, and has certainly got everyone excited for Essex Fashion Week taking place in October.

As official sponsors of Essex Fashion Week, Ella Tino are teaming up with the Ryan Twins, founders of Essex Fashion Week for a number of events.

August Bank Holiday saw us jet out to Marbella for the ‘White Party’ at the Sisu Boutique Hotel, where we were giving away goody bags filled with our famous blinged out crystal jewellery and accessories to lucky part goers.

It was an extremely hot evening, but that didn’t stop everyone looking fabulous as they sipped on drinks around the pool.
